Door Pro America, LLC sells, installs and repairs garage doors and openers. We do business under five brand names, each with its own local branches and website. This policy explains what information we collect from customers and website visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our brands and branches

Each brand below is a trade name of Door Pro America, LLC.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote, book service or contact us, we collect your name, address, phone number, email and details about your garage door and the work you want. If you pay by card, our payment processor handles the card details. We do not store full card numbers.

If you agree to receive text messages, we keep your phone number and a record of your consent.

Our websites also collect the technical information most websites collect: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and the site or ad that brought you there. Calls to the numbers on our websites or in our ads may be routed through call-tracking numbers.

How we use it

• To give you a quote, schedule and complete your work, send appointment reminders and follow-ups, bill you and answer your questions.
• To keep records of the work we did for you, including warranty records.
• To ask you for a review after a job. If you leave one, we may show it on our websites as you wrote it, with your first name and last initial.
• To tell you about our services by email, and to show you our ads online and measure how they perform.
• To run and protect our websites and business.

We do not sell your personal information. Information you give one of our brands may be shared with Door Pro America, LLC and the branch that serves you, so we can complete your work.

Text messages

1. The information you give us when you agree to receive text messages will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
2. If you agree to receive text messages, they come from the brand that serves you: Door Pro America, American Garage Door Systems, Liberty Door & Awning, CC Garage Door or Steve’s Garage Doors. You may receive appointment confirmations and reminders, installation status updates, follow-up messages and billing inquiries.
3. Message frequency varies. For example, you may receive up to 5 messages per week related to appointment confirmations, reminders and other timely communications about your appointment.
4. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s plan.
5. You can agree to texts by checking the text message consent box on a form on our websites, or by telling us yes when you book by phone. Consent is not a condition of purchase. If you do not want texts, leave the box unchecked.
6. To stop, reply STOP to any message. You can also contact us and ask to be removed from our texting list.
7. For help, reply HELP to any message, call the branch that serves you, or email privacy@stevesgaragedoors.com.
8. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Standard disclosures: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

Who we share it with

Companies that work for us. These include the companies that host our websites and forms, keep our customer records, send our texts and emails, track and route calls, process card payments, display our reviews and help us advertise. They may use your information only to do that work for us.

Analytics, advertising and social media companies. Our websites use tools from outside companies for analytics, advertising, call tracking, maps, fonts, embedded videos, reviews, chat and social media. Examples include Google (including Google Analytics, Google Ads and YouTube), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, X, TikTok and Microsoft. The tools vary from site to site and change over time, so this list is not complete. When you use our websites, these companies may collect information such as your IP address, device information and the pages you visit, and use it under their own privacy policies. Each company’s privacy policy is on its own website.

Manufacturers. We share what a manufacturer needs to register a product or handle a warranty claim.

Partner programs. If you bought through a partner program such as Costco, we share the information the partner needs to run its program.

A new owner. If Door Pro America, LLC or one of its brands is sold or merged, customer records go with the business.

The law. We share information when the law requires it, or to protect our customers, employees and property.

Cookies and ads

We use cookies, pixels and similar tools from analytics and advertising companies, such as Google and Meta, to understand how people use our websites and to advertise online. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the internet, and use cookies to show ads based on your past visits to our websites. You can opt out of Google’s personalized ads at https://adssettings.google.com and opt out of many other companies’ personalized ads at https://optout.networkadvertising.org. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings.

Your choices

• Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Texts: reply STOP.
• Your information: email privacy@stevesgaragedoors.com to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to ask us to stop using it for advertising. We will confirm it is you first and respond within 45 days. We may keep records the law requires us to keep. Residents of some states have additional rights under state law, and we will honor any request the law requires.

Children

Our services are for homeowners and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, and our websites use encryption (https). No system is perfectly secure. If you think your information with us has been exposed, contact Larry Notto at the email above.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on each of our websites with a new date.
